Zoe Saldana in Balmain - Colombiana Premiere

My girl crush of the moment - Zoe Saldana attended the screening of her new movie ''Colombiana'' last night looking like a million dollars! As soon as I caught a glimpse of Zoe, I knew I had to post about her look because she was also wearing one of my favourite fashion houses - Balmain!!



Zoe Saldana in Balmain Resort 2012:

The beautiful Zoe wore a modified version of this Balmain Resort 2012 dress at the Premiere, the modification being the added white train - I know a lot of critics didn't approve of the added train but as soon as I saw a glimpse of her dress, I knew it was Balmain and couldn't not love it! The detail in the dress is insane and the works of true craftsmanship plus the gold looks mesmerizing against Zoe's skin.

Zoe paired her dress with black strappy heels although I do think a nude or gold heel would've looked better, none the less, she looked sensational and is certainly one of the biggest Balmain fans around ( this is the second look she's worn from this collection). 

Zoe finished her look with dramatic eye make-up consisting of liquid eye liner flicked up, very cat like and brown eyeshadow in the same shape while everything else was kept simple. Her hair was in a carefree up do, with a dress like that, you've got to let it do the talking!

The Help Premiere: Emma Stone

The lovely Emma stone attended the Premiere for her fantastic new film, The Help and looked divine clad in Chanel Couture. Emma has become somewhat of a fashion icon as of late, she's been wearing up to date pieces from various designers and has looked fantastic doing so! Here is my take on her look at the premiere:

Emma looked beautiful as always in Chanel Spring 2011 Couture, the ensemble consists of a strapless dress with a draped knotted skirt at the waist over a lightly beaded sheer textured t-shirt. Emma really exudes confidence and earns serious fashion credit in this look, she also isn't afraid of a hint of sexiness hence the thigh split which she's proudly showing off.

Emma finished her look with nude Brian Atwood pumps not to stray from the romanticism of her look, nudes, light pinks and greys make up her colour palette which is why she has decided against any harsh colours in all aspect. Her beautiful little bag is also Chanel.

Lastly, Emma took matched every aspect of her outfit to her make-up which consisted of shimmery pinks and purples on the eyes and finished with a glossy pink lip. Her Chanel Fine Jewellery also finished her look perfectly with that beautiful hair pin and earrings adding some sparkle to the outfit. The hair accessory actually reminds me of this Blake Lively look. 

Emma is a fashionista within her own right and I cannot wait to see what else she comes up with! 

Gossip Girl: Season 4 Bloopers!!

My favourite show on Earth, Gossip Girl had its Season 4 DVD released yesterday and I've been dying to see the bloopers (you know, when they mess up their lines and laugh about it, lol) as I've yet to buy the DVD :'( ...I will be buying it soon though! In the meantime though some lovely people have uploaded it onto YouTube for all to see!
Of course, like all Blair/Serena maniacs I was searching for moments between my two favourite actresses and there were a few and OMFG I freaked - could they be more adorable?!

I love every single cast member and there are so many memorable moments from Penn's ''I almost called you Leighton'' to Leighton's ''Hmm lesbian sex'' LMFAO.
My absolute favourite moments are :

Balmain Resort 2012

The latest resort collections have been released and boy do they look good! Balmain happens to be one of my favourite labels and it also happens to have a new designer at the helm: Olivier Rousteing who has taken over from Decarnin. His designs have that classic Balmain detail and punkiness yet they have an air of freshness about them, the collection has 27 pieces in total but I'm only going to include my very favourites and maybe even give little hints about who I want to see in them! 

This dress is beautifully detailed and something a young starlet could wear to a Premiere or fashion event.

I'm loving the skirt, it can be paired with so many different pieces and you'd have a beautiful outfit.

I love the amount of jewel gold that has been included in this collection and almost has a McQueen feel with the intricate - almost snake like detail.

I love the fit of this dress, it looks beautiful on Kasia (model), its very tight but so gorgeous and it would make a real impact on the red carpet! I think Leighton Meester would look perfect in this.

I adore the skirt in this look, it seems Rousteing has gone for put together outfits with one particular piece receiving all of the attention and in this case, that skirt is screaming for attention! 

I chose this mostly because of that beautiful jacket, the colours and detail are insane. This jacket could either be worn at an event or even better, on a Gossip Girl cast member - can you imagine Blair or Serena in this? OMFG! 

I'm sure all the fashion bunnies out there recognise this look as it was worn by the gorgeous Zoe Saldana a few weeks ago and she sure as hell proved it can be worn to a red carpet event, although you don't need a reason to wear Balmain. 

This tiny play suit is featured on here because I love the fact that he's turned something so simple (play suit) into a red carpet candidate, any daring fashion darling could pull this off with some attitude and those beautiful shoes! 

After rows of shorts, jackets, short dresses we have this beautiful black gown which while it isn't a classic red carpet dress, it would look beautiful flowing against a sea of sugary dresses - if anyone wants to make an impact, I suggest this.

The above jacket caught my attention straight away when I was browsing the look book and wow, its classic Balmain, its luxurious and something every fashionista out there wants to get their claws on! 

This amazing, beautiful & breathtaking white dress is my favourite piece in the whole collection - its so clean and the gold detail in the middle is absolutely beautiful. It's been styled with a large belt and clean white jacket which really adds to the beauty of it. It's different from Decarnin's Balmain but I love it and would love it even more if someone worthy would wear it on the red carpet! 

Last but certainly not least, is this beautiful white & gold short dress. This whole collection has has specks of gold all over the white pieces and it looks absolutely divine, the hanging of the gold fringing on the side of the dress adds some punk into it but it remains classic with those clean lines and beautiful shape - Leighton Meester was put on this earth to wear this and most of the other dresses in my opinion! 

Teen Choice Awards, 2011: Blake Lively!

This is the last instalment in the TCA's 2011 series and I end it with my favourite & best dressed lady of the night: Blake Lively!! I'm sure nobody is surprised that I've given Blake an entire post so that I cover everything thoroughly because after all, she's a fashion icon & inspiration of mine so its only right I dedicate a whole post to her! She looked beautiful, glamours and fierce at this years awards (which btw she hasn't attended since 2008!) so lets get started!

P.S. Blake took home the award for ''Actress in a Drama'' and for Gossip Girls' win in ''TV Drama'' - yayy for Blake & for GG, 4 years in a row they've won now! :)




Blake Lively in Gucci Resort 2012:

Fashion icon Blake wore this brand new, straight off the runway Gucci Resort 2012 orange leather dress at the Awards and looked like a ray of sunshine! Its the second time Blake has been spotted wearing a Resort 2012  piece and I bet it won't be the last, being such a fashion icon she must have designers clamouring to dress her! 

I think Blake looks sophisticated yet sexy in this dress because of the leather of course, its a sexy material and she has the body of a supermodel! The orange looks gorgeous against her tanned skin, it just all falls into place, she's so put together and always makes a huge effort, which is pretty much why I adore her! Best dressed by far, for me. 

Perfection is Blake Lively!

Shoes: Christian Louboutin's ''Pigalle Python'' pumps:

Blake paired her dress with these amazing Louboutins, they are a complete dream, seriously! Its a classic stiletto shape, the height of the heel is great and not too big and most importantly the python skin looks wonderful against her orange dress - she couldn't have paired them any better, they look fantastic with her overall look! Love love love! 

Jewellery: Lorraine Schwartz

As always, beautiful Blake was clad in Lorraine Schwartz jewels! She wore this beautiful pair of triangle diamond earrings which reflected light beautifully and most definitely made a statement. I love all of her jewellery, she really does have amazing taste and this is no exception. 

Blake also had two different bracelets, one was a joined circle diamond bracelet (1st in pic) and the other was a gorgeous mini stud diamond bracelet (2nd in pic), both are gorgeous and covered in diamonds so they really give the whole outfit some sparkle in contrast to the leather of the dress. Love them! 

Lastly for jeweller, Blake wore two diamond rings, one was quite small and with a little pink diamond while the other was larger and with pearls wrapped around wired diamonds - both beautiful and Blake is never one to leave the house without diamond rings! 

Hair & Make-up:

Blake looked so beautiful at the event, she blew my mind! Everything about this girl is just perfect! Her make-up was gorgeous as always - bronze eyes, pink lip, bronzed and highlighted face, she always looks so put together and never disappoints me, she is stunning! Her hair was styled as almost quiff like but a large chunk was pulled off of her face & secured with pins at the back - it looks great! Also, her hair seems to be getting blonder by the week but I'm loving it, very golden & beachy and looks fantastic on her!

Teen Choice Awards, 2011: Ladies of Pretty Little Liars!

Hello again, well aren't I posting a lot today, I'm feeling pretty proud of myself! As promised in the previous post, I'm dedicating this entirely to the Pretty Little Liars ladies, who were all in attendance! I love the show and the girls so lets get going!




Lucy Hale in Cengiz Abazoğlu Spring 2010 HC & Giuseppe Zanotti Pumps:

The gorgeous Lucy wore this beautiful little cut out dress that I love!! I adore the length of the dress, Lucy definitely has the body to pull it off and the two colours are stunning together! Another thing that attracted me to Lucy's dress is the cut-out detail, its very sexy and she looks like a total bombshell! 

Anybody something strange about Lucy's shoes? They're heel-less! I didn't notice myself until I saw it on another site, damn, she really went all out on this occasion! I'm loving Lucy's look...a contender for best dressed out of her cast-mates! 

As I said before, Lucy looked absolutely beautiful (doesn't she always?), I love her dark chocolate hair that she's swept to the side and her make-up is lovely, she always does a smoky eye to enhance those amazing green peepers of hers! 

Ashley Benson in Alice + Olivia Fall/Winter 2011 & Ruthie Davis pumps:

The blonde of the group, Ashley wore this beautiful & very bright dress by Alice + Olivia, I'm loving the patterns and the combination of black & green, its very eye catching and suits her blonde hair to perfection! The dress looks gorgeous on her and I like her shoes, black was a good colour to go with and she's so cute, she's painted her toes bright green to match with her outfit! OK, I'm a geek lol. 

Ashley's hair & make-up was beautiful at this years TCA's! Her hair was in lovely waves and her make-up really made her gorgeous blue eyes stand out, stunning! 

Shay Mitchell in DKNY Resort 2012 & Jimmy Choo clutch:

The lovely Shay wore a skirt & blouse combo from DKNY's Resort 2012 collection...kudos for getting brand new attire girl! I'm in LOVE with the paillette skirt, the colour is amazing and I love they way it seems to reflect when exposed to light - I love it!! She paired her look with black peep toes and a black, jewel encrusted Jimmy Choo clutch, she looked fantastic and so put together!

Shay was the only of the girls to put her hair up and it certainly allowed for her outfit to do the talking, I think her care-free pony tail was lovely and so was her make-up, it had lots of brown/red undertones e.g. the lips and eyes. She's a beautiful girl, that's for sure! 

Troian Bellisario in Maria Lucia Hohan:

Last but certainly not least, the wonderful Troian wore this very romantic, lovely dress by Maria Lucia Hohan. I'm loving the colour on her and the general design of the dress as it fits her like a glove plus the chest & waist details are lovely and really accentuate her slender figure. Also, I like that she kept her jewellery at a minimum with only one bangle, one ring and pretty headband, it really complements the dress and of course, her. 

I love her hair, she's a little bee hive going on there and it looks great, the romantic waves really flatter the dress as its also pretty floaty and all romantic. Her make-up was flawless in my opinion, her skin was silky smooth, her lips very natural and she let those beautiful eyes do the talking, love it!

Teen Choice Awards, 2011: Actresses!

Continuing from my post about the Kardashians at last nights TCA's, I'm dedicating this post to all the actresses who didn't fit in any other category! All of the ladies that I've chosen look amazing, there's only three of them but they all looked individual in their outfits and are regular red (in this case, blue) carpet favourites of mine! Lets get on with it:



Cameron Diaz in ALC mini dress & Burak Uyan sandals:

One of my fav actresses of all time, Cameron Diaz never disappoints me with her outfit choices and I like that she kept her look natural, not overly made up at all, although that's classic Cameron! 

That nude ALC mini dress looks great on her killer body and I'm loving those sandals, they're gorgeous! 

As always, Cameron kept her hair & make-up natural and fresh. She wore very little make-up, just a little to accentuate those amazing eyes of hers and kept her hair simply straight, lovely! 

Zoe Saldana in Lanvin Resort 2012 & Alexander McQueen pumps:

My girl Zoe wore an extremely new Lanvin Resort 2012 pleated dress which I love on her! The colour looks amazing on her and those Alexander McQueen pumps are to die for, plus the gold in the shoes works beautifully with the dress! I love Zoe and always adore what she wears, she really is becoming a fashion icon!

How damn beautiful is this girl? My God...that smile & those eyes are hypnotizing, she's so beautiful it hurts! That's all I'm saying about Zoe, she's drop dead gorgeous...take a look for yourself! 

Rachel Bilson in Chloé Resort 2012 & Brian Atwood ''Cohen Borchie'' boots:

The pretty Rachel also wore a brand new Resort 2012 dress, hers was by Chloé and it was heavily modified from the original but still lovely! I definitely like this dress on Rachel, she looks gorgeous in white/mint green...can't figure out what colour the dress is lol! Only criticism I have is her choice of footwear, I love those boots but not with this dress, the dress is too soft and pretty to be paired up with spikes - replace the shoes and its perfection! 

Her hair & make-up was simple, her hair was wavy however I prefer it when its poker straight..she looks amazing like that! She had a neutral smoky eye & nude lip combo for make-up, so pretty! 

Those were my favourite actresses that didn't fit in any other category, hope you liked it!
