Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace - 2012 Academy Awards

Angelina Jolie was one of the main attractions at this years Academy Awards held on Sunday evening in Hollywood. The actress caused a frenzy while posing on the red-carpet with her partner Brad Pitt by working the hell out of her Versace Atelier gown to the maximum. So much so that her right leg has become a celebrity of its own.
It's not like Angie to pose this hard at events but I love her too much to take it too seriously, she's still the best in my eyes.

Dress: Atelier Versace
Heels: Salvatore Ferragamo

Angie wore a creation by her favourite fashion house, Atelier Versace. It wasn't hard to figure out that she would don an Atelier Versace gown because they are her go-to for major events plus they make a great twosome. Speaking of favourites, she of course wore this black, strapless velvet gown with a thigh high split and voluminous skirt which gave her the perfect opportunity to show off her slender pins! The dress is stunning and while she's worn black a thousand times its a nice rework on a classic colour so kudos to Angie for staying true to herself. She's perfect in any design or colour.

The beauty completed her look with voluminous blown out waves, trademark light brown smokey eyes and a slick of coral/red lipgloss to add some colour to her black gown. Absolutely beautiful as always.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford - 2012 Academy Awards

Gwyneth Paltrow was my best dressed lady at the 2012 Academy Awards on Sunday. I was surprised to see her but when I caught sight of her dress, lets just say my jaw dropped. The minute I saw her, my mind was made up about who was the Best Dressed and for me it was Gwyneth hands down, I'm still in awe when I see the pictures, its just surreal.

Dress: Tom Ford Fall 2012
Heels: Jimmy Choo 'Koko' Sandals

Gwyneth gave us our first look at Tom Ford's super secret Fall 2012 collection on Sunday. The blonde beauty looked breathtaking in this one shouldered white gown which she paired with an uber chic matching white cape. I'm completely obsessed with the dress and the cape itself, it adds so much to the whole look - its exquisitely crisp white gives it such a chicness that no one else had but the unique design is what really stepped it up. She looks wonderful and was definitely the right choice to showcase the collection, tall and lean was the prerequisite for this dress!

Gwyneth completed her angelic look with a low, sleek ponytail and her signature natural make-up - anything more would've been too much for her dress. Everything about her is sensational and I'm completely in love with it.

Rooney Mara in Givenchy Couture - 2012 Academy Awards

Best Actress nominee Rooney Mara of 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' was another attendee at Sunday's 2012 Academy Awards. Hollywood's newest IT girl went out with a bang at the end of Awards season by surprising everyone by wearing white, I know its not a huge deal but for somebody who prefers black 98% of the time, it was great news!

Dress: Givenchy Spring 2009 Couture
Jewels: Fred Leighton

The raven haired beauty was always going to wear Givenchy Couture, we all knew it right? In this case, Rooney wore this stunning Givenchy Spring 2009 Couture gown which has been modified from the runway version with added structure and a sweeping lace train. I adore the mini plunge on this dress along with the delicate all over lace which makes it so intricate and I'm so glad she wore white as it looks divine against her porcelain skin and dark hair. She may not have taken home the Oscar but she sure as hell gets my vote.

Rooney's natural beauty continues to mesmerise me, she's so gorgeous that I can't help but just stare at her perfect skin and those eyebrows..she's just perfect. Her hair was styled into a tight bun with her trademark blunt fringe taking centre stage. Her make-up was also true to her personal style, heavy mascara to emphasize  her eyes and a matt red lippie completed her ethereal look.

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad - 2012 Academy Awards

Jennifer Lopez attended the 2012 Academy Awards on Sunday evening as a presenter. The newly single mother of two was looking her usually sexy self of course.
She presented with her 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' co-star Cameron Diaz and both ladies complemented each others gowns with both wearing fitted nude-like gowns.

Dress: Zuhair Murad
Heels: Jimmy Choo 'Sugar' Peep-Toe Pumps
Clutch: Salvatore Ferragamo

J-Lo wore a custom Couture dress from one of her favourite designers, Zuhair Murad. The nude silk tulle gown was hand-embroidered with transparent crystal beading and features a plunging neckline and cut-out sleeves. This gown is pure J-Lo in my mind, it's form fitting, ridiculously sexy and glamorous and most importantly, it catches your eye instantly! I love how amazing it looks on her curvy figure plus the transparent slits add even more sexiness, its a stunning gown for a stunning lady. Jenny accessorized with a Ferragamo clutch and Jimmy Choo's.

The gorgeous star completed her look with a tight bun and perfectly seductive smokey eyes which of course are her signature. I love that she let her show stopping gown do the talking, its just mesmerizing.

Cameron Diaz in Gucci Premiére - 2012 Academy Awardsc

Cameron Diaz attended the 2012 Academy Award yesterday evening on presenting duties. The bubbly blonde presented an Award with 'What To Expect When You're Expecting' co-star Jennifer Lopez who looked equally beautiful, more on that later though.
It's been a while since Cameron has been on the Awards season scene and when I found out she was attending I was ecstatic as I love her style.

Dress: Gucci Premiére

Cameron wore this beautiful, pale nude strapless gown with a fitted top half and full skirt of chiffon layers embroidered with silver and nude bugle beads along with silver fringing. The amazing gown is Gucci Premiére which we all know is usually reserved for Cannes Film Festival starlets but Cameron is worthy of such a gown. I knew Cameron would impress me and she's surpassed my expectations - the dress is a concoction of things that I love. From the pale nude colour to the amazing skirt with an array of layers and embellishments its every girls dream.

Cammy styled her newly chopped bob into a deep parting with sweeping fringe. Her make-up was classic Cameron - flawless skin, nude lips and a slick of eyeliner to add some definition. Gorgeous all round.

Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli Couture - 2012 Academy Awards

Emma Stone was another attendee at yesterday's 2012 Academy Awards. The young actress was there to support her film 'The Help' which was up for Best Picture but ultimately lost out to The Artist.

I always get blown away by Emma and this was no exception, some Nicole Kidman circa 2007 Oscar's comments were flowing but Emma looked ravishing and worked her dress to its full potential.

Dress: Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture
Heels: Brian Atwood 'Karin' Platform Sandals
Clutch: Louis Vuitton

Emma wowed in this stunning berry coloured Giambattista Valli Spring 2012 Couture gown with a high neck and bow. The flowing chiffon looked beautiful as she glided down the red carpet and I'm in love with the colour, it looks fantastic on her and I believe its a shade she hasn't worn before! While it is similar to Nicole Kidman's Balenciaga gown this is more age appropriate for Emma as Nicole's had more structure plus it was a different colour. Emma always impresses me and she did just that last night. She accessorized her Couture gown with Louis Vuitton jewels and clutch.

The red-head slicked her famous tresses in a ballerina type bun and kept her make-up fresh with a slick of liquid eyeliner along with flawless skin. Always a favourite of mine regardless of what she's wearing.

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton - 2012 Academy Awards

Michelle Williams was at the 2012 Academy Awards yesterday evening. The Oscar nominee was up for Best Actress for her role as Marilyn Monroe in 'My Week With Marilyn' but unfortunately lost out to veteran Meryl Streep.
The talented actress did however win points when it came to her dress, she wore one of her favourite colours and looked divine.

Dress: Louis Vuitton
Clutch: Bottega Veneta Crocodile 'Knot' Clutch

Michelle wore this beautiful, coral one-of-a-kind Louis Vuitton dress which had a peplum skirt and a pleated bust line. The dress also had a small flowing train to give it that Oscar's feel along with a silver bow shaped brooch placed on the waist I adored this as soon as I saw it on TV, the colour just popped and looked so vibrant against her pale skin and blonde pixie cut. Stunning.

Michelle completed her Oscar's look with her trademark side swept pixie cut, red lippie and Forever Mark diamonds that channelled her on screen character, the iconic Marilyn Monroe.

Rose Byrne in Vivienne Westwood - 2012 Academy Awards

Rose Byrne also attended the 2012 Academy Awards yesterday evening held in Hollywood. The 'Bridesmaids' star was there to support the movie which was up for 'Best Writing'.
The Australian starlet made quite the statement by wearing an Elie Saab jumpsuit at the SAG Awards earlier this year so lets see how she faired up at the Oscars..

Dress: Vivienne Westwood
Heels: Jimmy Choo 'Linda' Sandals
Jewels: Chanel

Rose blew me away by wearing this custom Vivienne Westwood liquid black, one shoulder column gown which also had an open back. I'm totally in awe of Rose here, she looks perfect - the dress itself is stunning, the black sequins give off such a sexy feel and the open back adds to that. She is so striking in this dress that it was hard to ignore this masterpiece, she was one of my favourites of the night for sure.

Rose completed her look with her blunt bob and sharp fringe looking very polished, smoky eyes and Chanel 'Luere d'un Soir' earrings. Stunning.

Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen - 2012 Academy Awards

Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain was on the red carpet for the annual Academy Awards last night held in Hollywood. The stunning red-head became a favourite of mine from the moment I saw her gliding down the carpet...my jaw dropped.

Dress: Alexander McQueen
Heels: Brian Atwood 'Alesha' Monster Pumps

Jessica was picture perfect in her custom Alexander McQueen dress which had a stunning regal feel to it. The strapless, black organza gown had a stunning gold embroidery along with metal thread all over it - it's a work of art and Jessica is beaming while wearing this creation. One of the absolute best of the night.

Another thing that blew me away was Jessica's hair - the strawberry blonde hue is so beautiful that I can't stop staring at it and the sweet half-up-half down style is perfect to show off that strong corset. Her make-up was light and flawless with only a flick of liquid eyeliner to let her gown (and hair) take centre stage. Absolutely mind blowing!
