Rooney Mara in Givenchy Couture - 2012 Academy Awards

Best Actress nominee Rooney Mara of 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' was another attendee at Sunday's 2012 Academy Awards. Hollywood's newest IT girl went out with a bang at the end of Awards season by surprising everyone by wearing white, I know its not a huge deal but for somebody who prefers black 98% of the time, it was great news!

The raven haired beauty was always going to wear Givenchy Couture, we all knew it right? In this case, Rooney wore this stunning Givenchy Spring 2009 Couture gown which has been modified from the runway version with added structure and a sweeping lace train. I adore the mini plunge on this dress along with the delicate all over lace which makes it so intricate and I'm so glad she wore white as it looks divine against her porcelain skin and dark hair. She may not have taken home the Oscar but she sure as hell gets my vote. 

Rooney's natural beauty continues to mesmerise me, she's so gorgeous that I can't help but just stare at her perfect skin and those eyebrows..she's just perfect. Her hair was styled into a tight bun with her trademark blunt fringe taking centre stage. Her make-up was also true to her personal style, heavy mascara to emphasize  her eyes and a matt red lippie completed her ethereal look. 

Rihanna in Givenchy Couture - 2012 Brit Awards

Rihanna attended the 2012 Brit Awards last night which were held in London. The 'We Found Love' singer took home the award for 'Best International Female' which I think is rightly deserved seeing as every song she sings turns to gold worldwide.

Rihanna stole the show in this straight off the runway Givenchy Spring 2012 Couture gown. Her crystal embellished taupe gown had a sexy thigh split and plunging neckline which looked stunning against her caramel skin and shimmering Givenchy peep-toes. I love the colour, the embellishments and sexy details which are just classic Rihanna but I'm not fond of the brown leather gloves, had she removed this it would've been sensational. 

Rihanna completed her look with an up-do and surprisingly light make-up with only a little mascara and nude lipgloss. She always looks great and this is no exception. 

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Couture - 2012 Screen Actors' Guild Awards

Zoe Saldana is the last of my best dressed starlets at the 2012 SAG Awards which were held last Sunday in LA. The 'Colombiana' actress was there on presenting duties and believe me the moment I heard she was attending I was dying to see what she would show up in and believe it or not, I had a feeling she would go for Givenchy Couture as its become quite the relationship the two have formed during Awards season.

Zoe became the first to wear a Givenchy Spring 2012 Couture gown on the red carpet and considering the collection was shown just days before, she needs a round of applause! Her exquisite, white silk organza gown had a drop waist embroidered with shimmering crystals. Her gown also had a cluster of embellishments around the neck and on the drop waist detail - she might be in Couture but Zoe is still her edgy self. I also loved the crystals all over the hemline and split, its ridiculously pretty. 

The pretty actress completed her look with diamond earrings, a loose up-do and flawless make-up. Loved everything. 

Teen Choice Awards, 2011: The Kardashians!

The annual TCA's took place last night in LA and it was filled with gorgeous actresses, singers, reality TV stars etc! I completely forgot the TCA's were even on last night so I got lovely surprise when I woke up, so many beautiful outfits to talk about!!
I decided to split my TCA coverages into separate posts as its a lil easier for me, so I've started with the my favourite reality TV sisters: The Kardashians! Kim, Kourtney & Khloé were in attendance and so were their little sisters Kendall & Kylie Jenner, they all looked great so here we go!



Kim in Givenchy and Christian Louboutin ''Pigalle'' pumps:

Kim looked fantastic in her little Givenchy feather monochrome number! I'm loving the detail around the waist I think it gives it a little edge rather it just being black & white plus I like that she chose something different in comparison to her sisters! So beautiful! Oh and her jewellery is all Lorraine Schwartz, as always! 

Anybody who knows me, knows I think Kim is a beautiful girl, I mean she's just stunning, look at that face! She does go overboard with the make-up sometimes but its easy to see that she'd be stunning with or without it, she's gorgeous!!

Kourtney in Blaque Label & Christian Louboutin ''Rolando Python'' pumps:

Kourtney is arguably my favourite Kardashian sister because I love her no bullshit sense of humour plus she wears amazing clothes! 

The colour of this lovely dress really stands out against her lovely olive skin & dark hair, I love that Kourtney always wears something completely different to her sisters when out for appearances, she's the most likely to be caught in bold colours for sure! She paired her look with Louboutins and a Chanel clutch! 

Looking as gorgeous as ever, Kourtney went for heavy liner to accentuate her beautiful dark eyes and put her hair in a bun to let her dress do the talking, smart girl! And her jewellery is all by Lorraine Schwartz! 

Khloé in Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2011 & Jimmy Choo's:

Khloé's beautiful animal print Cavalli dress is my favourite out of the Kardashian dresses this time round! She looks like a goddess in this dress, I love how well her clutch suites the dress and how confident she looks, I absolutely adore Khloé, she's probably the funniest person in the world and I think she looks stunning in this getup! 

Another thing I love about Khloé last night was her hair, she must've purposely made her hair huge - almost lioness like to match with the animal print on the dress, I love the colour too she should keep it like this! 

Kardashians & Jenners:

Don't they all look gorgeous? And look how tall Kendall & Kylie have gotten, they're towering over their older sisters :O

Unforgettable Fashion: Givenchy

I'm going to start a series of posts called Unforgettable Fashion, it will basically be about certain pieces or collections that I have found inspirational, different and most of all attention grabbing. All the pieces I will write about will be things I find truly beautiful and an example of when a designer out does themselves.

First up, a stunning and completely unforgettable embellished jacket from Heaven or...Givenchy's Haute Couture 2009 Collection. First time I saw it, I just stared and wondered how on earth something so beautiful was possible, I wanted it soooo badly but unfortunately I will never own it, that's ok I'm cool with just looking at it I guess.

The gold piece underneath it put the whole thing together, if I was to wear this jacket I would wear it exactly like they've styled it here. Simple black harem pants but above the hips is something entirely mesmerizing...thank you Ricardo for creating this masterpiece! Out of all the things in that collection this caught my eye instantly and held it too.
