Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Antonio Berardi – 2012 Elle Style Awards

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the 2012 ELLE Style Awards early last week. The Brit model looked picture perfect as always, its very rare Rosie ever puts a fashion foot wrong and this is no exception.

Dress: Antonio Berardi Spring 2012
Heels: Sergio Rossi 'Profile' Sandals
Clutch: Edie Parker 'Lara' Clutch

The 'Victoria's Secret' Angel looked sensational in this ethereal, floaty dress with leather embroidery and flowing cape from Antonio Berardi's much loved Spring 2012 collection. I'm always a fan of Rosie's choices and this is no exception. She always looks sophisticated yet ridiculously sexy all at once..look at those legs! She accessorized with a nude clutch and strappy sandals - perfect outfit.

The stunning Rosie completed her look with a half-up-half-down hairstyle, false eyelashes and a pink, glossy pout. As beautiful as always!

Best Dressed Promo Star of 2011 - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

This beautiful lady has had one hell of a year, from being one of the most successful British models of the moment to landing a leading role in one of this years blockbusters - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is here to stay!
Rosie promoted ''Transformers: Dark of the Moon'' all summer travelling to all major cities of the World and one thing became obvious: she was a fashion icon in the making!

I'm not sure anybody has had such an amazing run while promoting one movie, I can't say anything bad about any of her choices because they were all flawless and she just exudes elegance and poise. She wowed me at every Premiere so that's why she gets my vote as 'Best Dressed Promo Start of 2011' and of course, here are some of her best looks...

Photocall in Brazil wearing Michael Kors. So divine.

At Photocall in Moscow in pink Michael Kors Spring 2011.

At the Moscow Premiere looking sensational in Gucci Fall 2011.

At Berlin Premiere in dazzling Naeem Khan Fall 2011.

At London Premiere in Burberry Prorsum (what else?), probably my favourite of all.

Last but certainly not least, Rosie finished her tour with a stunning Antonio Berardi Fall 2011 gown which wowed the crowds.

Note to all actresses out there: this is how you become a fashion icon in under a month, notepads at the ready!

Kate Bosworth in Burberry Prorsum - Burberry Body Launch Event

The lovely Kate Bosworth who is quickly becoming the girl I write most about attended the launch of Burberry Body perfume in LA the other night looking so stunning and almost stealing the limelight from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley! Being a huge fan of the brand Kate was luck enough to land the first Burberry Spring 2012 dress making it her second time after scoring first dibs on Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 - she has an array of fans in the fashion world so I'm not surprised but then again Kate has been the one to watch for years and she never disappoints!

Dress: Burberry Prorsum Spring 2012

Shoes: Burberry Strappy Platform Sandals

Wristlet: Burberry Resort 2012

Kate chose this stunning African print dress which is in a different colour to the runway version but in my opinion this colour is much more striking! My jaw dropped when I saw Kate in this dress and that doesn't happen too often - the colour is a dream on her and she has the attitude needed to pull it off. The dress had a knotted and key-hole detail to add individuality paired with a black belt which co-ordinated with her black strappy sandals. One of my favourite looks of the week for sure!

Kate gorgeous turquoise and green embellished wristlet was a stand out piece in this outfit and just as important as her dress - the two colours go perfectly together and I'm getting serious envy right now, its so beautiful!

Naturally Kate left her hair in 'bed hair' mode but I'm still in love with it, her hair colour is fantastic and suits her a hell of a lot! Her make up was also very natural, a slick of mascara did the trick to make those baby blues pop.

Kate & the face of 'Burberry Body' Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who looked amazing in her nude dress, both ladies gave us all something to talk about with these dresses!

MTV Movie Awards 2011: Best Dressed!

The MTV Movie Awards took place on Sunday, 5th June and it was a star studded event! As always, my main focus was what the ladies in attendance were wearing and not so much who won what, although my beloved Leighton lost out 'Best Villain' to Tom Felton :-( . Moving on, I have a few favourite outfits that I'm going to include in this post but there weren't many of them to be honest, a few impressed me a lot but some were just down right horrendous. Lets begin then!

Emma Stone in Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 RTW:

Looking like a real life doll in Bottega Veneta, its not difficult to see why Emma was a favourite of mine! I'm in love with the colours of the dress, they are incredibly flattering on her and kind of different to what everybody else wore!

I think the lace over the corset and the big black bow wrapped around her waist add a doll like dimension to her look, its' very sweet and girly yet tough because the colours aren't the usual pink etc, I'm in love with it, top marks to Emma for this gorgeous dress!
Aside from the gorgeous dress, Emma paired her look with bronze Casadei pumps which complemented the dress and her hair really well.

And what do we have here, Miss. Stone has gone back to red which I'm so glad about because while I'm aware she's a natural blonde I feel that the blonde she previously had really washed her out whereas this shade of red brings so much warmth to her gorgeous face! I'm loving the sweet and simple hair, its not too showy yet elegant enough and the thick slick of eyeliner finish it off perfectly to enhance those baby blues, love it!

Kristen Stewart in Balmain Spring 2011 RTW:

A big surprise of the night was Kristen's amazing Balmain dress, the detail and colour is insane! I love that she picked a young and colourful dress with lots of fun detail, there are a lot of pins and studs on it, lets just say its very Balmain!

I'm glad Kristen wore such a bright colour because it looks fantastic on her, its just a refreshingly young dress on a young lady, I'm in love with it and I love how Kristen has worn it so casually, the dress does the talking while everything else is almost muted.
She paired her dress with Louboutin's Chiarra point toe pumps in black, overall one of the best dressed of the night!

Kristen looked as pretty as ever, her hair and make-up were very fresh and natural with a slight liner on her gorgeous green eyes and kept her skin very fresh. I'm loving her naturally tossed to the side hair, really low maintenance which is typical Kristen, I thought she looked beautiful.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 RTW:

Rosie chose this lovely Dolce & Gabbana leopard print dress for the Awards and I must say she looks like a goddess! I'm loving how much the print actually suites her, its pretty difficult to pull of without looking tacky yet Rosie makes it look very high fashion, which lets face it, it is! She's also wearing Sergio Rossi Totem wedges and was carrying a Salvatore Ferregamo gold minaudiere which was gorgeous!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, with a face like Rosie's you really don't need make-up but our girl uses it anyway, her lovely hair was simply pinned back with some fly aways left to fall on her pretty face, I'm loving her hair colour as of late...its on the verge of being blonde yet remains a very light brown and of course she's obviously accentuated it with blonde highlights, it looked great!

Katie Cassidy in Malandrino Spring 2011 RTW:

The lovely Katie Cassidy was also in attendance because of presenting duties with L. Meester & Selena Gomez but I was extremely impressed by what Katie wore, she looks heavenly in this Malandrino dress! I think the knit gown looks surprisingly fresh on the red carpet because its such an underrated material, she looks fantastic and very statuesque, simple yet a definite stand out for me, I hope to see more of Katie on red carpets! She paired her dress with a Sergio Rossi compact clutch and plenty of Sandy Leong jewellery!

We all know Katie is a stunner and she most definitely proved it at this years Awards, her bronze eye make-up are perfect for her honey blonde hair which was in simple cascading waves, she definitely has a warmth to her face that suits with the blonde in her hair, she's gorgeous!

Blake Lively in Michael Kors Resort 2012:

As always I've left my two favourite ladies for last..save the best for last right? The amazing Blake wore a very figure hugging Michael Kors cut out dress which had the most amazing cobalt colour, the colour just popped against her tanned skin and blonde hair. I think she looks very sultry and put together, everybody was talking about this dress before pictures even surfaced and I was so anxious to see it!
I think its a simple yet very striking dress which was sort of unusual for Blake because she tends to go for revealing and eye catching dresses but none the less, I do like it a lot and she's probably the first to wear the Resort 2012 collection!

Doesn't she just look like a goddess? Ugh the dress fits her like a glove, its perfect yet a little sexy because of the cut-outs and figure hugging material! Blake of course paired her dress with Louboutin's, this time it was his Bibi platform pumps in purple and its not the first time Blake has paired a blue dress with purple heels (she did the same thing at this years Elle Awards) and she sure knows it works!

As I'm sure most people know, I'm obsessed with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery as of late and because Blake wears her pieces non stop, I get my fix from her! For this event, Blake once again rocked the most gorgeous multi-coloured diamond bangles, the green, purple etc colours looked beautiful together and it certainly made her stand out even more! I'm in love with it...

After a month or so spent in the Europe its no wonder Blake has a deep tan! Plus her hair is gradually getting back to the blonde shade she is so famous for, finally, I've missed it! One of Blake's favourite hair styles is a sleek up do which she's been wearing a hell of a lot lately, it definitely works for Blake though because she has the bone structure to pull it off! Her make up was extra light, very natural on the eyes with the slightest hint of gold eye-shadow and mascara while everything else was kept very natural, she looks amazing as always!

Leighton Meester in Balmain Fall 2011:

My favourite person in the world aka Leighton Meester is of course my absolute favourite of the night, her gorgeous Balmain dress stole the show completely, I wasn't sure what to expect from Leighton but I certainly wasn't expecting Balmain, which is one of my favourite labels and one I've been dying to see Leighton wearing! I believe she's one of the first to wear a dress from the Fall 2011 collection and my God, doesn't she look amazing??

The beautiful dress was covered in embellishment, mirrors in particular, I think the detail and craftsmanship is insane. I love that she didn't go for something very in your face sexy or fitted because she wears this quite loose dress with such confidence and yet remains sexy as hell! She should definitely wear silver more often!
I think the dress has an almost sci-fi feel to it, the silver looks like it could be a splattering of stars and other various things, lol.

It's short yet with long sleeves which adds to its appeal for me, its definitely very Balmain, like I said before about Kristen's dress, you just know when a piece is Balmain and they're damn beautiful!
Leigh paired her amazing dress with Pierre Hardy sandals which also had a lot of silver on them..she really went all out as far as combination goes! And she wore a ton of silver Bvlgari jewellery too...see what I mean, its a silver affair!

The lovely shoes Leighton wore, no high platform or sky high heel but classy and probably very comfortable!

I thought Leighton looked her absolute best on the night, she is perfect and I'm going to repeat it until I go blue! She was looking very tanned which is probably because she's been spending most of her time in LA this past month, she also had her gorgeous hair in a beautiful dip dye style colour. It was a dark brown at the top and gradually faded to a blonde at the ends although its pretty clear Leigh was wearing extensions for this appearance but I think they look fantastic and her hair is giving me serious envy!
Her make-up was my favourite of the night, Leigh hasn't done an intense smoky eye in ages and I was glad to see the heavy liner and shadow as it intensifies her already beautiful eyes even more, the are just hypnotizing.
Leighton = perfection. I'm done here!

See ya next year bitches, I hope you liked my choices!

MET Gala 2011: Alexander McQueen's 'Savage' beauty

So, let me start of by saying that I'm aware that this post is long overdue and I have posted in the past few weeks and the honest reason I've avoided this post is because there was SO much material to work with that I couldn't find the time to include everything I liked.  However, here I am tonight and it's 1:09am here in the UK and I thought 'hey what the hell, I'll give it a go', so I am!

This year the MET Gala was honouring the late Alexander McQueen who is one of my favourite designers of all time, his originality and creativeness is something everyone should aspire to. When hearing that he'd passed away, I felt a real sadness because he was so iconic, bold and unafraid to take risks with his designs that it just inspired me and those around him to let their craziness out...and I have many times, lol.
I dedicate this whole post to the man that is greatly missed by those close to him and by the entire fashion world, a real pioneer in creativeness, the phenomenal Alexander McQueen.

Here are my favourite looks at this years MET Gala:

Sarah Jessica Parker in Alexander McQueen Fall 2005:

Sarah's dress blew me away as soon as I saw a glimpse of it, utterly beautiful! The detail in the dress is out of this world and it fits her like a glove, she always was a McQueen favourite and I'm not surprised at all that she wore his design!

I think her hair was stunning and complemented her dress perfectly. SJP was definitely one of the best dressed, she looked sensational!

Rihanna in Stella McCartney:

RiRi's gorgeous dress was custom made and all I can say is wow, she looks sexy as hell! I had no idea the dress had a split until I saw other pictures and I must say, Rihanna was brave to wear it because it is very revealing!

Looking drop dead gorgeous in her lace gown, Rihanna's dress was one to remember! Her fiery red hair was extra long for this occasion and in a side braid. She paired her look with dark berry lips which I wouldn't have put on her but none the less, her gorgeous emerald earrings stood out for the right reasons! Top marks for RiRi! And that view from behind, ;)

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Burberry:

Rosie's pink custom made Burberry gown is a favourite of mine because of the sheer simplicity of it, its not too overpowering yet still very appropriately sexy for her. She always looks great to me, she has a body to die for and I'm just loving this dress on her, top marks!

Isn't she just gorgeous?! With a face like that, Rosie could pull anything off! Her hair & make-up were quite simple, a little smoky eye with gorgeous hair, nothing to distract attention from her dress!

Freida Pinto in Chanel Spring 2010 Haute Couture:

The lovely Frida wore this gorgeous Chanel which I love for simply being completely different to the rest of the Chanel girls and everyone else! She wore it with confidence and it shined through, a definite stand out, I just love the contrast between the silky white and the black tie its very Karl like!

Simple wavy hair and a red lip put Frida's look together, she definitely made Karl and Chanel supporters proud with this gorgeous dress!

Gwyneth Paltrow in Stella McCartney:

Looking as sexy as ever, does Gwyneth not age or what? She has a body to die for!! I love the way this Stella McCartney dress looks on her, she has the long body that is needed to pull this off and looks as statuesque as any model could! Her lovely blonde hair definitely helps to pull this of, it's similar to SJP's dress yet with less embellishment and detail but it just goes to show that you don't have to go over the top to stand out! Love it!

Well, if you had Gwyneth's legs you would show them off too! ;)

Diane Kruger in Jason Wu Fall 2011 RTW:

Looking as fabulous as ever in Jason Wu, Diane remained loyal for the second year running! I'm just loving this dress because its almost understated if it wasn't for that thigh split which paves the way for sexy, the embellished top half really makes this look rememberable whereas the black skirt adds a chicness which always seems to travel with Diane wherever she goes.

It's only right that Diane flashed some leg, after all its all the rage these days! Joshua Jackson is one lucky man, that's all I'm saying! To conclude, I love her side swept blonde locks and that dash of bright red lipstick, very classic!

Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen Pre S/S 2011:

The gorgeous Salma just gave us all a lesson on how to wear nudes, looking all kinds of delicious in this McQueen gown! Her gown is phenomenal to me, the big rose wrapped around her waist just makes it all look so romantic (not that it needed help!) and her even more angelic, a beautiful dress on a beautiful woman!

As any McQueen fan, she teamed her stunning gown with a McQueen knuckle clutch which oddly didn't toughen up her gown it simply blended with everything else and let the dress do the talking!
Salma's hair is also another thing I loved about her look, it looks so carefree in that cut and style, it just accentuates the detail in the dress even more because it matched the floatiness of it. And her body is to die for, as far as I'm concerned a model couldn't have worn the dress better, it needs curves!

Kristen Stewart in Proenza Schouler:

For starters, I didn't like this dress when I first saw it but I've grown fond over it because of how much the colour complements Kristen, she looks gorgeous and should definitely wear red more often! I believe this dress was made especially for her by the Proenza duo and she also attended with them. what a lovely trio!
I think the black pattern in the dress gives it that extra edge that really made me appreciate it.

Looking very smouldering indeed, Kristen's dress had a thigh split to give it a little sexyness, she just looks fantastic!

Eva Mendes in Stella McCartney Spring 2011:

Eva Mendes always looks sensational so you shouldn't be surprised that she's one of my best dressed. Her gorgeous Stella McCartney dress has the most beautiful shade of dark blue, its just like a jewel. I think the simplicity of the gown is altered by the colour and the beautiful material that moves so freely.

I picked this dress as one of my favourites because of the sheer confidence it exudes, strong colours and romantic material make Eva's dress a winner for me! I love her and her dress!

Kirsten Dunst in Chanel Fall 2010 Haute Couture:

The beautiful Kristen went with her favourite designer, Chanel, for this years MET Gala. She chose this gorgeous creation from the label's Fall 2010 Couture collection which has been worn by starlets all around Hollywood so she decided to give this particular dress an outing! The beautiful colours and detail certainly makes it a winner for me because it complements Kristen's pale skin & blonde hair beautifully.

I'm loving Kristen's fashion choices as of late and this is no different, her dress is very Chanel and yet very Kristen, its a true beauty which deserves to be on Best Dressed lists everywhere! Her fresh hair and make-up really give her a youthfulness that makes me love this whole look even more! Loving it!

Leighton Meester in Louis Vuitton:

And now for the love of my life, Leighton Meester! My girl once again rocked Louis Vuitton by Marc Jacobs, she's been wearing his designs for three years straight and I feel a fantastic relationship forming! The gorgeous dress was made especially for Leighton and I'm hearing it took a very long time to make (because who wouldn't wear custom made Louis Vuitton?!) and the end result was just sensational! The black, the leather and S&M look give it an upper hand in the sea of legs and thigh splits that we saw throughout the evening.

The picture above really shows the craftsmanship in the dress and every little detail that sometimes black can drown out, its just a beautiful piece of art and my gosh that is a lot of leather! Leighton paired her look with Vuitton cage booties which I liked but would've preferred if she's worn a stiletto as the booties sort of shorten her legs: just a suggestion! Btw, look at those curves this dress has created, wow!
P.S. Leighton wore Cathy Waterman Diamond mesh earrings and a flower motif diamond ring, also by Cathy Waterman!

Leighton's high pony tail was there for everyone to see, you really couldn't miss it, very sleek and powerful! Her make-was also very fresh and natural with only a prominent flick of black eyeliner and mascara, she does like the natural look! I definitely like Leighton's make-up but I would've gone with some eye shadow on the eye and not make the eyeliner so severe, soften it and smudge it up rather but none the less she looked like perfection :)

Blake Lively in Chanel Fall 2009 Haute Couture:

As you can see, I left my favourite dress for last. I think Blake looked like a goddess in this sari style dress from Chanel's Fall 2009 Couture collection! The see through sheath underneath with the gorgeous iridescent sari just looked phenomenal and totally different to other Chanel clad ladies. It wasn't an obvious choice from Blake's because she tends to go for sexier and more revealing styles but there is most definitely something sexy about this dress, its not showing too much but it is playing peekaboo!

I am genuinely in love with how this dress looks on Blake, she looked absolutely beautiful and was glowing all over, the dress most definitely looked like it was made perfectly for her!
She paired her look with Louboutin's ''Anna'' sandal which is definitely a better choice than a platform as it would've made the dress look heavy rather than floaty and carefree.

Since Blake was my favourite of the night, I'm going to be adding a heck load of pictures, I'm obsessed with it! Doesn't she just look angelic?

Looking like a million dollars, Blake was all shades of warmth on the night! Her newly dyed red hair had faded to a coppery tone yet looked very strawberry blonde and was in perfect waves that defined her face so beautifully. Her make-up on the night had a lot of bronze and gold tones, as she usually does on her eyes and had lashings of mascara on, her lips were kept nude and glossy. All in all I think she looked drop-dead gorgeous, totally stole the show in my opinion!

Blake wore the most beautiful, amazing, gorgeous and unforgettable Lorraine Schwartz cuff I've ever seen, I'm literally obsessed with it! It's a large coral star cuff clad in diamonds but with the most beautiful coral colour to it. She wore it with other similar looking bangles which I'm sure went together anyway, point is: it blew me away, its one of the most beautiful pieces of jewellery I've seen in a while! The colours and design are insane, Blake is so lucky!!

And of course I couldn't leave without a pic of Blake & the amazing Karl, we have him to thank for all those beautiful Chanel dresses on the red carpet: Karl, we salute you!
P.S. Look at her smile : D !!

Til' next year! And I love you Lee Alexander McQueen!
