Teen Choice Awards, 2011: The Kardashians!

The annual TCA's took place last night in LA and it was filled with gorgeous actresses, singers, reality TV stars etc! I completely forgot the TCA's were even on last night so I got lovely surprise when I woke up, so many beautiful outfits to talk about!!
I decided to split my TCA coverages into separate posts as its a lil easier for me, so I've started with the my favourite reality TV sisters: The Kardashians! Kim, Kourtney & Khloé were in attendance and so were their little sisters Kendall & Kylie Jenner, they all looked great so here we go!

Kim in Givenchy and Christian Louboutin ''Pigalle'' pumps:

Kim looked fantastic in her little Givenchy feather monochrome number! I'm loving the detail around the waist I think it gives it a little edge rather it just being black & white plus I like that she chose something different in comparison to her sisters! So beautiful! Oh and her jewellery is all Lorraine Schwartz, as always!

Anybody who knows me, knows I think Kim is a beautiful girl, I mean she's just stunning, look at that face! She does go overboard with the make-up sometimes but its easy to see that she'd be stunning with or without it, she's gorgeous!!

Kourtney in Blaque Label & Christian Louboutin ''Rolando Python'' pumps:

Kourtney is arguably my favourite Kardashian sister because I love her no bullshit sense of humour plus she wears amazing clothes!
The colour of this lovely dress really stands out against her lovely olive skin & dark hair, I love that Kourtney always wears something completely different to her sisters when out for appearances, she's the most likely to be caught in bold colours for sure! She paired her look with Louboutins and a Chanel clutch!

Looking as gorgeous as ever, Kourtney went for heavy liner to accentuate her beautiful dark eyes and put her hair in a bun to let her dress do the talking, smart girl! And her jewellery is all by Lorraine Schwartz!

Khloé in Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2011 & Jimmy Choo's:

Khloé's beautiful animal print Cavalli dress is my favourite out of the Kardashian dresses this time round! She looks like a goddess in this dress, I love how well her clutch suites the dress and how confident she looks, I absolutely adore Khloé, she's probably the funniest person in the world and I think she looks stunning in this getup!

Another thing I love about Khloé last night was her hair, she must've purposely made her hair huge - almost lioness like to match with the animal print on the dress, I love the colour too she should keep it like this!

Kardashians & Jenners:

Don't they all look gorgeous? And look how tall Kendall & Kylie have gotten, they're towering over their older sisters :O

That's it for the Kardashians!
Up next: Actresses!

September Issues, 2011.

Hello loves! I was feeling slightly bored and in need of writing a nice lil post, I was scrambling to think about what I could possibly write about and *light bulb moment*..THE SEPTEMBER issues, the most important issues of the fashion year! All of the major style bibles e.g. Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Vanity Fair and many more have chosen their September cover girls and they all look fantastic! Not all covers have been released so there are still more to come from US Vogue, US Glamour & US Marie Claire etc.

Marie Claire UK: Anne Hathaway:

The lovely Anne has landed the Marie Claire UK cover which I bought the other day because I adore Marie Claire! The pictures and fashion are beautiful and so is Anne but I wish they'd chosen another photo for the cover, something more alluring but none the less, its a great cover!

Vanity Fair: Jennifer Lopez

J-Lo is on Vanity Fair's Sept cover looking all beautiful and serious, its her first ''post-split'' interview so they're sure to gain plenty of sales from Jenny!

ELLE US: Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth is on ELLE US's cover looking fantastic, she looks fresh and not overly made up, very statuesque!

Harper's Bazaar UK: Beyoncé

Queen B is of course on a Harpers Bazaar cover and surprisingly on the UK edition! I'm sure everyone has see the pics of B posing in Paris in a beautiful Gucci gown, word got out that it was for Harpers Bazaar and of course, everyone assumed it was for the US but nope..we get B, doesn't she look fantastic?

ELLE UK: Kirsten Dunst

The beautiful Kirsten landed the UK ELLE cover looking incredibly pretty, the flowers and colours are captivating and her piercing blue eyes are amazing! Glad you're happier bb!

Glamour UK: Mila Kunis

One of my current girl crushes, Mila Kunis is on the UK Glamour cover and I cannot wait to buy this, I'm a Glamour addict! Mila looks great and I'm glad they chose her for the cover!

Vogue UK: Freja Beha Erichsen

One of my favourite models of all time, Freja was chosen as the cover girl for UK Vogue and I don't blame them, she's amazing and can sell pretty much everything! Love her!

InStyle UK: Freida Pinto

InStyle UK cover girl Freida Pinto is looking gorgeous on her cover, she's wearing Pucci and looking damn fine! Can't wait to see it on the shelves!

British GQ: Bar Rafaeli

And because I had to add something for the dudes out there..GQ UK cover girl Bar is looking smoking on their Sept issue, very seductive indeed, she's a beautiful girl!

I'll add more as they surface! :)

BAFTA ''Brits To Watch Gala'': Favourite Looks.

Hello people! I haven't posted in a while because I didn't think there was anything worth posting but I saw pictures of the BAFTA ''Brits To Watch Gala'' event which took place on July 10th and seeing as my girl Blake Lively was in attendance, I immediately felt like blogging!
As I'm sure everybody knows, The Duke & Duchess of Cambrigde aka William and Kate were in California over that weekend and I believe the event was in their honor because William was made president of the BAFTA awards! Here are some of my favourites from that night...

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge in Alexander McQueen:

If there's one thing about me that everybody knows, its that I adore Catherine, like literally love her! I didn't like her very much in the beginning but the anticipation of her wedding just made me fall in love with her! She's so graceful and elegant and perfect, William and Catherine (I love calling her that) are such fantastic representatives of our country!
As you can see here, she wore a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen design (obv) and looked absolutely magical!

I love that Kate didn't go over the top, the shade of the dress is lovely and it creates a lovely silhouette without going over board! Her hair and make-up looked beautiful as always, so fresh and understated yet powerful enough to make a statement!
P.S. Kate wore Jimmy Choo's...finally,I was getting sick of seeing her in LK Bennett but the girl changed it up, and they had a 5 inch heel, go Kate!

Jennifer Lopez in Emilio Pucci A/W 2011:

The amazing J-LO was in attendance and wore this beautiful forest green Emilio Pucci dress. I'm in love with the colour, she's worn this kind of shade before and she's always looked fantastic, I'm also loving the two different shades of green - that embellished green is beautiful and the highlight of the dress for me!

The dress fits her like a glove and shows off her enviable curves to the maximum - she has such a beautiful and womanly shape!
I actually cannot get over that embellished right arm...look at the colour and the detail, its insane and the main reason as to why I'm so obsessed with this dress, lol.

I had to add this picture because she looks so gorgeous in it, plus we can see the dress in a different angle and see the detail a little closer! And of course, her famous derrière is another reason as to why I added it... ;)

Blake Lively in Marchesa S/S 2011:

My darling Blake was also in attendance and she showed up in this angelic and very embellished Marchesa gown looking absolutely stunning! Personally I think the dress is beautiful even some others weren't too complementary, I think the colour suits her and the embellishment around the ends, sleeve and chest is gorgeous, very nicely done and adds something special to the gown.

I also like that she chose something quite off white because although it looks white its not quite, its been very lightly dip dyed towards the end where it meets the embellishment which is grey of course, she colour coordinated really well! Her shoes are amazing, they're Christian Louboutins for Marchesa from the Fall/Winter 2011 RTW collection, beautiful and delicate detail plus it has a really good heel! I love this whole look on Blake, its a different direction to her usual short dress combo (which I kinda miss to be honest)!

Blake's hair & make-up on the night was also one of my favourites, she kept the make-up fresh looking with gold eye-shadow, plenty of mascara, flawless skin and peachy lip! Her hair was also a talking point, all the Blake obsessives will have noticed that she's quite a bit blonder than when we last saw her - she seems to have added a lot more highlights which eventually lightened up her hair a whole lot! I wasn't too sure of the hair in the beginning because I thought it looked a little yellow for her complexion but I've grown to like it!!
Also, she's wearing Lorraine Schwartz diamond flower earrings as always, she looked stunning!

See ya later! ;)

Review: Beyoncé's ''4''

I haven't done a music review in a while so I thought it was only appropriate that I review an album that I'm really enjoying at the moment. Beyoncé released her fourth album 4 on June 28th, worldwide and I couldn't be more in love with it.
B has gone into a completely different direction for her new album, its not like I Am...Sasha Fierce at all, almost all of the songs are love songs whether about being broken hearted or being deeply in love with your man..Beyoncé knows how to speak to a woman's heart!

The cover for 4 is of a hot as hell Beyoncé posing almost naked and looking like the hottest chick in the world, no crazy graphics just B looking amazing against her own name with the 4 on her left...probably her best cover, yet.

1) 1+1
The first track on 4 is 1+1, which, simply put is a very touching love song. B could've named it a lot of other things seeing as she only mentions the title once on the song but its only appropriate to give this song a unique name rather than something generic. I fell in love with this song from the second I saw B perform it on American Idol and I was sure it was going to be an epic song for her, it is! One of the lyrics go ''I don't know much about guns but I know, I've been shot by you'' is sang with so much passion and depth that you can really hear the love in B's voice, its an outstanding song!

2) I Care
As I said in the beginning of this post, the majority of the album is about love..and its many forms! I Care is a beautiful song about a relationship in which the man seems to not care at all for the woman etc, its beautifully sung as always and B's emotion once again shines through. It starts of very slowly with ''I told you how you hurt me baby but you don't care, now I'm crying and deserted baby, but you don't care'' and then moves into more up tempo while remaining on the same level of emotion and general theme of the song. I love this song because its such a common feeling women everywhere have and B isn't afraid to put it out there, I Care for you B!

3) I Miss You
I Miss You is arguably one of my favourite songs on this album, she's changed the tempo from being heartbroken to missing her lover. I primarily love this song because once again Beyoncé channels so much emotion with her voice that its difficult to not get teary eyed with this song, its so slow yet powerful because the words speak so simply yet strongly. One of my favourite lyrics is '' It hurts my pride to tell you how I feel but I need to, why is that'' because its once again such a common feeling and to hear someone say it out loud can be heart wrenching. I absolutely love this song, its so heartbreaking that its hard not to!

4) Best Thing I Never Had
Now this song is already well known so it won't come as a surprise to those who haven't heard the album yet. Best Thing I Never Had is about a previous relationship in which you're glad finished before it got complicated, its definitely an anthem for women everywhere! A favourite lyric of mine is the opening ''What goes around, comes back around, my baby'', she sings it so smugly that I can't help but smile when she sings that part, I love this song and cannot wait for the music video!!

5) Party ft André 3000
B collaborated with André 3000 & Kanye West on Party even though he's not credited in the title. I would say Party is the weakest song on the album and not because its a bad song, its not, its actually a nice, chilled out song with a catchy chorus. It simply isn't to the standard of the other songs in my opinion, with that said my favourite part if the chorus in which B sings ''Cuz we like to party, ey, ey,e y''...very catchy!

6) Rather Die Young
Rather Die Young starts out slow and movies into a 70's vibe, its all about B preaching that she'd rather die young than live her life without her man. I would put this in the same league as Party, its good but its not the best on the album, there are other songs which are much better! I would happily have traded Rather Die Young and Party for two songs on the Deluxe edition of the album!

7) Start Over
I love this song because its B back to her best! Its about B realising her relationship has gone as far as it can and starting over! I would say its a lot like the beginning of the album, which is why I like it and like I've said a thousand times before, Beyoncé really goes for it as far as vocals go in this song, the emotion and lyrics are beautiful! ''Lets start over, we can't let our good love die''...

8) Love on Top
With Love on Top, B moved into a 70's vibe once again. It's a love song (obv) with a slight up tempo sound and lots of harmonies, it actually reminds me of a lot of Solange Knowles' material...Beyoncé even sounds like her sister on this track its quite strange! Its a great song, perfect for dedicating to somebody (lol) and moves slightly away from the previous ballads, '' Honey, honey, I can see the stars all the way from here..''

9) Countdown
Ahh I've been waiting for this song!! I absolutely adore Countdown, its the most up tempo song after Run the World (Girls) and of course its about L O V E! I pretty much love this song because of the spontaneity of the lyrics, its up tempo yet something you would dedicate to your lover. B counts from 10 to 1 all the things that go on between her and her man! I adore the beginning because its just B ad libbing with a very 90's vibe, my favourite part is ''Still love he talks, still love the way I sing...my girls can't tell me nothing I'm gone in the brain''...I LOVE this song, its one my absolute favourites!

10) End of Time
Before I review End of Time, let me just say, it has the sickest beat in the beginning...completely unexpected going by the title of the song! The drums are sick, damn I can't get it outta my head! End of Time is as expected, a love song yet a lot more harmonious than its preceders! One of my favourite parts is ''I'll be your baby, promise not to let you go, love you like crazy'' it has that special B touch...she's loud and proud! If anything, listen to the beginning..its amazing!

11) I Was Here
I Was Here is in my opinion, the most powerful song on the whole album. I instantly fell in love with it from the first listen and I was hungry for more, its such a beautiful ballad that I struggled to get it outta my head from the first listen! It was written by the amazing Dianne Warren who has written some of the most touching ballads ever, its very haunting and genuinely makes you think about life unlike most songs out there. I love this song from beginning to end so its difficult to chose a favourite part although I'm going with this '' I was here, I lived, I loved, I was here, I did, I've done..'' I could go on about this song all day to be honest, I think it's Beyoncé's best ballad yet, its so beautiful and inspiring! I was here...

12) Run the World (Girls)
I'm sure everyone has heard this song by now, I for one, adore this song and I'm aware that a lot of others don't but I don't care. I think its typical Beyoncé, feminist message, loud beats and crazy lyrics with an amazing music video! I'm in love with the sample of Pon de Floor and the Tofu Tofu dancing at the beginning of the video...Beyoncé looks as beautiful as ever, she gets hotter by the year seriously! Back to the song, I love it because its pretty much the only song on the album you can really dance to, its up tempo and great, ''Who run the world, GIRLS!!'', what more could you ask for?!

Take a look at the vid for yourself, and speaking of fashion, how amazing does she look in that yellow Emilio Pucci cut out dress, its heaven!!:

You didn't think we were finished did you? B also has a deluxe edition of 4, with a different cover this time (It's also the one I bought) and with 3 other songs, so naturally, we gotta review those too! Btw, I prefer the original cover but this is great too, that purple really pops!

1) Lay Up Under Me

Lay Up Under Me isn't the most stand-out track but its still catchy and appropriate as a deluxe edition track, its got the same vibe as Love On Top in my opinion, very harmonious with a 70's edge. Its definitely a great song and deserving to end up being on the album overall.

2) Schoolin' Life

Now this is better than the previous song! It's catchy, energetic and the chorus is fantastic! Its all about living life to the fullest with many examples from Ms B, I love the message in the song and the beat is pretty sick too! My favourite part is ''And I'm crazy, all day, all night. Who needs a degree when you're Schoolin  life''...amazing.

3) Dance for You

This is definitely the best song on the deluxe edition and probably the most explicit too! Dance for You is all about dancing & seducing your man, its very sexy Beyoncé with such sensual lyrics. I think its the most sexual song on the album overall, its very romantic & sexy but also pretty emotional because its all about loving your partner to the fullest and while I love the entire song this part ''Wanna show you how much I really care about your heart, Wanna show you how much I hate being apart'' is beautiful and touches my heart a lot. I love this song, its definitely in my top 5 for the entire album!

Overall, I think Beyoncé's album is the best of the year so far after Adele's 21. I'm in love with Britney's Femme Fatale and Gaga's Born this Way but 4 touches the heart & soul, its so much more deep and a record only an established artist could come out with. I think its the best album of Beyoncé's career so far, she's incredibly inspiring and vulnerable on this record, she's grown as a person and it shows. I love this and I recommend it hugely, 10/10 for sure! <3!

Blake Lively at Green Lantern Premiere!

The Green Lantern Premiere took place on June 15th to a huge crowd of fans and photographers in LA, its two leading stars Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds attended and both looked fantastic! I was so stoked for this Premiere because I knew Blake would pull out all the stops when it comes to fashion and trust me, she didn't disappoint!
Blake also bought her whole family with her to the Premiere and the Lively clan all posed with their star daughter/sister/aunt on the green carpet, so adorable!

Oh My God! I was breath taken when I saw Blake in this beautiful/amazing/angelic Chanel Spring 2009 Haute Couture dress! Doesn't she just look heavenly and delicious? This is the exact reason I always get excited for Blake's red carpet appearances, she always makes a huge effort and I love her for it! She's such a glamorous and sophisticated young woman and her take on clothing/fashion really exudes that, she really is an inspiration and an icon for me.
Also, I think the flower embroidery adds such a romantic feeling to it, especially the way it falls at the bottom, its very sensual!

A cool fact about Blake's dress is that it's really a wedding dress, or at least that's how it was presented on the runway, they have however modified it for Blake so that its more wearable e.g the top half isn't as sheer as it was originally, although you can still see her sensational legs in the sheer tulle bottom half..you didn't think she covered up completely, did you?
As always, Blake was loyal to her favourite shoe designer, Christian Louboutin by wearing his ''Fifi Strass'' pumps which were covered in crystals, you should all know by now that Blake + Chanel + Christian Louboutin = Perfection!

Blake blew me away in all aspects at the premiere, she looked like such a goddess. I loved how natural she looked, she had a really healthy glow to her skin and was lightly tanned. Her eye make-up was gorgeous, it was Blake's usual gold/bronze eye except intensified with black liner and false lashes which she doesn't tend to wear, her eyes looked very sultry and her pink lip gloss added a real youthfulness to it all. She just looked beautiful, that's all there is to it!

Like any other Blake obsessed person, her hair was one of my favourite things about her whole look! Her hair was looking really blonde with all shades of warmness, it just looks so amazing I can't quite get over it and I love that she's matched her eyebrows to her hair, it really helps to pull the look together!
Obviously I'm not going to push past that amazing, messy and unique braid, people, I love that she experimented with her hair rather than leaving it down and wavy as most people would've done, had they worn Blake's dress.
I LOVE it, I want it and I'm going to try it at home, lol.

You guys didn't think I wasnt going to mention this amazing Lorraine Schwartz Yellow and White Diamond Flower Pin did you? I mean, just look at it..it screams glamour and gorgeousness. Blake's hair colour is almost exactly the same as the pin itself but all those yellow and white diamonds cant go unnoticed, not to mention that beautiful flower shape, my favourite piece of jewellery of Blake's for this appearance! <3!

Naturally, Blake wore a heavy load of Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and she really went all out at her première! In the picture above she's wearing beautiful bracelets, bangles and various others all in the same colour spectrum of yellow and white diamonds which looked perfect next to her crisp white dress! P.S. Blonde ladies out there: follow Blake and wear white more often, you'll look angelic!

Now because she wore so much jewellery on her right arm it was only right to add some diamonds to her left, she wore a Yellow Diamond and Ruby Ring which I love, the yellow diamonds just sparkle like crazy, they're probably my favourite diamonds of all!

Blake and her hot co-star Ryan Reynolds, isn't he just delicious? Blake is one lucky girl to have gotten so close to him in the movie, he's dreamy <3!

The Lively clan all came out to support their lovely Blake, such an adorable family! L-R
Robyn Lively(half-sister), Ernie Lively (daddy), Elaine Lively (mummy), Blake, Nephews, Lori Lively (half-sister) and Jason (half-brother).

Hope you enjoyed it, can't wait for more Blake appearances <3!

Blake's Promo Tours!

As we all know, Blake Lively has a new movie coming out very soon, Green Lantern in which she co stars with the hot Ryan Reynolds who plays Hal Jordan. Blake plays Carol Ferris, a fighter pilot and Hal's love interest in the much anticipated movie, it's released June 17th, so naturally the duo have been promoting it a hell of a lot and in return we got some great pictures of Blake!
I've also added pics from various other events which might not really tie in with Green Lantern!

June 7th, Green Lantern Conference:

Outfit: Chloé Silk Blouse & Chloé Pleated Skirt.

Shoes: Brian Atwood ''Zenith'' platform pumps.

Jewellery: Lorraine Schwartz diamond rings of various shades.

Blake was literally looking like a ray of sunshine at the conference, she wore this lovely Chloé duo in yellow which looks beautiful against her blonde (it's back!!)! I love that she chose such a bright colour because one, its looks brilliant on her and two, because its not a colour that she's really worn before which adds to the excitement. Honestly ladies, if you a Blake blonde you need to be wearing this colour more often, it looks incredible!
She paired her outfit with black pumps but I think a nude peep toe would've looked better because black is such a harsh colour it makes a huge contrast against the bright yellow!

OMG Blake's blonde shade is back, and how I've missed it! Her hair is the inspiration for my hair so naturally I've been dying to see it this colour again, it just looks gorgeous doesn't it?! Blake definitely looks best as a blonde and her particular shade is the most beautiful colour, its almost a California blonde with added chicness!

Could she be more adorable? I love her smile <3!

June 13th,  Ghetto Film School Spring Benefit, 2011:

Top: Marc by Marc Jacobs Resort 2012 Printed Long-sleeve Top

Skirt: Marc by Marc Jacobs Resort 2012 Leather Skirt

Shoes: Christian Louboutin ''Fifi'' Pump in a paillette version.

Blake looked lovely all decked out in Marc's latest collection, she wore these two pieces to perfection in my eyes! I love the print on the top and how great it looks with the black leather skirt, it was even presented like this on the runway!

Those sensational pins are out again! I love this whole outfit, its almost casual in contrast to Blake's other events outfits, she was there to present an award to a former GG co-star, but she still looked a million dollars to me!
Plus those lovely Louboutin's add a familiarity to Blake's choice of outfit, the heel wasn't too high but I still quite like them!

I love this picture of her, it just shows how gorgeous she is naturally! I love the care free hair & make-up that Blake always sports, it just adds a youthfulness and fresh look to her! I think her eyes in particular look stunning as they really stand out against her tanned skin and blonde hair..which I'm obsessed with so don't make me start!
Blake looks amazing!!

June 14th, Outside the Today Show Studios and Arriving for Live with Regis & Kelly:

Dress: Tibi Floral Embroidery Cap Sleeve Dress from Spring 2011.

Shoes: Charlotte Olympia ''Dolly'' Pumps.

Jewellery: Lorraine Schwartz Diamond Flower Stud Earrings and Diamond & Platinum Ring.

Bag: Chanel ''Mademoiselle'' chain bag.

Blake looked stunning in this sky blue Tibi mini dress, I'm loving the colour on her, it just pops! I love these types of dresses in general and I know Blake has worn a few of these in the past and they look incredible on her! Her body is looking so amazing these days, I need to know her secret, those legs of hers are extraterrestrial!

I'm loving Tibi in general lately and so are a lot of celebrities, I believe this is the second time Blake has been spotted in their pieces in a matter of weeks! That shade of blue is just amazing and so is the print on it Blake is just one of those people who looks good in all colours, she's a total chameleon. Very structured yet very sexy!
P.S. I'm in love with those Charlotte Olympia leopard print pumps, they're super high and chic!

This has to be my favourite hair & make-up look of Blake's out of all these appearances! I'm loving the hair style, she's got a lot of volume at the crown and then its all cascading down at her side, it looks beautiful, like her hair always does! I also really like her make-up because she just looks so fresh, its all very glowy and summery with the pink cheek and pink lip, she looks beautiful!

June 15th, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno:

Dress: Missoni Fall 2011 RTW Knit Dress, modified version.

Shoes: Christian Louboutin '' 8 Mignon'' Sandals.

Jewellery: All Lorraine Schwartz.

Finally, Blake wore this modified Missoni dress at Jay Leno's last night just after the Green Lantern Premiere (cant wait to blog about that!!) I love the simplicity of the dress and how it looks on Blake, sparkly nudes always look fantastic and I like that show wore it with a vest under otherwise it would've been a lil too much! The length is great and I love how she accessorized it with a ton of jewels and those beautiful Louboutins!!

This picture gives us a better look at those gorgeous shoes, my oh my! The gold/green mixture of colour is amazing, it looks like a piece of jewellery from afar, I adore them and they're one of the few exciting shoes around.
Blake's hair & make-up wasn't quite the same as she had it at the Premiere, her hair was loosely down and her make-up was less intense than before, she looked lovely!

This is going to take a while, Blake wore a real handful of bangles and bracelets all by Lorraine Schwartz, she's wearing a ton of beautiful jewellery that its going to take me all day to name all of them lol, a solution is for you all to go here Blake's Jewellery , a fantastic site that is so helpful! One thing I can name are her Aqua Amethyst Coral Stone and Diamond earrings!
On a serious note, she does wear the most amazing jewels, and the combination above is beautiful, all those colours pop next to each other and each diamond shimmers, its amazing.

Up next: Green Lantern Premiere, you're gonna love it!

Leighton in London!

On Thursday, 9th June Leighton Meester and Vera Wang travelled to London for a visit to Harrods to launch Vera's new fragrance Love Struck and sign perfume bottles for fans! I'm sure you're thinking ''Well, did you go for the signing etc..'' and the answer is I didn't, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and something I will regret for a long time, trust me! I was all set to go with my bff and then she bailed on me when she realised Harrods was in LDN (seriously, how stupid can one be?!) and me being me I really didn't want to go alone in case I got lost (lol) and I had lessons that day which to be honest I would've skipped if it meant going but :'( I was even sadder after I saw pics of Leighton in Harrods signing and taking pics with fans, how I will regret this!!

Moving on though, can't dwell on the past, right? Leighton looked gorgeous as always and in my opinion more beautiful than ever (if that's even possible!), her and Vera make a great team and I can't wait to try Love Struck! Here are pics of the event:

Leighton was looking amazing in a Vera Wang Fall 2011 RTW pleated top and black leather pants from the same collection. I'm in love with the pleated top, its a different colour to the catwalk version, which is black but I like this a lot more because the detail really shows through and its a great colour on Leigh!

Another picture of Leighton with her perfume while looking stunning, I think she looks even better than she did at the MTV Movie Awards which is pretty hard to top of! I'm just loving what she's wearing and those shoes are Brian Atwood's ''Rina'' platform sandals btw!

Vera and Leighton posing with the LoveStruck bottle, aren't they adorable? In the interviews they gave they were so complementary of each other and as Vera put it ''I really wanted Leighton because she's such an incredible actor, she's also incredibly beautiful so the combination for me was perfect, she's a perfect girl!'' ...the sweetest thing and incredibly flattering!

You didn't think I was going to go without a close-up did you, when it comes to Leigh, I never leave without a close-up of her beautiful face! Leigh's hair was pretty much the same colour as before except she'd removed the extensions and the ends weren't as blonde as they were on  June 5th. I actually think she looks better without the extra long extensions but I definitely love her hair colour, it suits her a hell of a lot, very sun kissed! As far as make-up goes, she'd gone for a very dark pink eye-shadow  with lots of Kohl liner and mascara (I do love a smokey eye!) and the rest was just very sun kissed as I said before with little colour on the lips. She really is perfect looking!

A little while later Leighton attended a dinner to celebrate Vera's first store in London, guests included Vera (obviously) and Jimmy Choo's Tamara Mellon!  She was looking as beautiful as ever in a lovely dress which was presumably a Vera design and a little chain bag, her hair & make-up was the same as before except she'd added a very bright red to her lips which looked gorgeous against her tanned skin!

And if you haven't already seen the advert, here it is, Leighton looking as amazing as ever...
