One To Watch In 2012 Award - Mila Kunis

Ever since Mila Kunis starred in Black Swan late last year her profile has risen stratospherically, she is now a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee - Mila has since been attending all of the major Award shows in the biggest designer names let alone being on numerous fashion magazine covers.

While Mila has been on the block for a few years but its only in 2011 that the world really took notice of the beautiful actress, that and the fashion world too. Having worn every major designer out there I can't wait to see what she has in store for us in 2012!

Best Dressed Promo Star of 2011 - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

This beautiful lady has had one hell of a year, from being one of the most successful British models of the moment to landing a leading role in one of this years blockbusters - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is here to stay!
Rosie promoted ''Transformers: Dark of the Moon'' all summer travelling to all major cities of the World and one thing became obvious: she was a fashion icon in the making!

I'm not sure anybody has had such an amazing run while promoting one movie, I can't say anything bad about any of her choices because they were all flawless and she just exudes elegance and poise. She wowed me at every Premiere so that's why she gets my vote as 'Best Dressed Promo Start of 2011' and of course, here are some of her best looks...

Photocall in Brazil wearing Michael Kors. So divine.

At Photocall in Moscow in pink Michael Kors Spring 2011.

At London Premiere in Burberry Prorsum (what else?), probably my favourite of all.

Last but certainly not least, Rosie finished her tour with a stunning Antonio Berardi Fall 2011 gown which wowed the crowds.

Note to all actresses out there: this is how you become a fashion icon in under a month, notepads at the ready!

Best Dressed Female Entertainer 2011 - Rihanna

It's been the year of Rihanna for me - she has risen above and beyond other females in the music business with her fiery tracks and saucy lyrics but fashion is where the heart is for me.
I've been incredibly impressed with Rihanna this year, the red hair was the first thing that hit me (in a good way) and then came the beautiful and unique looks she's been sporting ever since. She doesn't make too many public appearances but her style at Awards shows is impeccable and the reason I gave her the 'Best Dressed Female Entertainer' Award.

She's turned into a real fashion force to be reckoned with sporting everything from Oscar de la Renta gowns to Max Azria suits - and not forgetting she landed a major American Vogue cover which shot her up to instant fashion icon status, its her year and she knows it!

In Elie Saab Fall 2010 Haute Couture at the American Music Awards, 2010. This is my absolute favourite look from Rihanna.

In Christian Dior Fall 2010 Haute Couture at the Brits, 2011.

In Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 after collecting her Award.

In Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Haute Couture at Grammy Awards arrivals. Wow.

In Max Azria Spring 2011 a the Billboard Music Awards 2011.

My 2011 Fashion Awards.

As 2011 draws to an end there's the inevitable question of 'Who rocked the fashion world this year'?, well the answer is a lot of women did! I couldn't possibly name just one person so I compiled a few 'Awards' to some starlets that I think deserve recognition and got on with it, the inspiration for this comes from RedCarpet-FashionAwards.com a blog that I'm obsessed with so I take no credit whatsoever but I thought it would be fun to compile my personal favourites of the year in a similar style.

I've made up a few 'Awards' such as 'Best Brand Ambassador' and 'Most Interesting Jewellery Collection' to my awards lists so in due time they will be rolling out!

In the mean time, go through my old posts to get some hints!

I'll be back soon!

Happy Birthday to Christina Aguilera!!

Yesterday was the 31st Birthday of my favourite music diva, Christina Aguilera! I know I'm one day late but its never too late! Anyone who knows me well enough knows how much I adore her: her voice and her songs make my life and I've been a fan of hers since Genie in a Bottle (which I still listen to, lol) and she's probably the only artist that I insist of owning every CD made by her, I just love her and always will.

I would like to wish her the Happiest Belated Birthday ever and success in all parts of her career and personal life. I cannot wait for her up-coming album which is rumoured to be released in 2012 so something to look forward to!

Happy 31st Birthday X-Tina!

Beautiful in a red D&G dress while promoting 'Burlesque'.

Looking heavenly at the AMA's in 2008 in a beautiful Elie Saab Couture gown.

I love nothing more than a 'Dirrty' Xtina!

Claire Danes in Valentino - Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum Launch Party

Claire Danes attended the 'Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum Launch Party' on December 7th along with a host of other high profile celebrities. Claire isn't a regular at red carpet events so I was pleasantly surprised to see her take a fashion risk - anyone who knows Claire knows she is very safe and not the biggest risk taker so of course my jaw dropped when I saw her in this red dress, wow!

- Valentino Spring 2012 Lace Embroidered Dress

Claire wore a beautiful Valentino Spring 2012 scarlet lace dress which was presented in blue on the runway however this colour seems to make a bigger impact. It's one of the first times I've really taken notice of Claire on the red carpet and I was totally blown away by this - its a dare for her standards, the colour and the beautifully cut lace are wonderful against her fair skin and blonde hair. She has really stepped her game up!

Claire completed her fashion forward look with Kohl-rimmed eyes which is a first for her but a definite upgrade - she looks so stunning with dramatic make-up it was difficult to even recognise her at first. I'm loving everything about Diane at this point, the dress, the make-up, the hair..it's all perfect.

:)

Freida Pinto In Chanel - Chanel Paris-Bombay Pre-Fall 2012 Show

The beautiful Indian actress Freida Pinto attended the Chanel Pre-Fall 2012 show in Paris on December 7th. She was also the guest of honour at the Indian inspired show, aptly named 'Paris-Bombay' - the show itself was a beautiful organza of Indian inspired clothes with breathtaking colours and craftsmanship from the Chanel team, plus who can forget the amazing set, all that food and decorations had every attendee in awe, well done Mr. Lagerfeld!

Dress: Chanel Spring 2012

Heels: Roger Vivier ''Prismick'' Booties

Frida wore a stunning sky-blue Chanel Spring 2012 dress (obviously) to the show and I must say, the colour is absolutely divine on her skin tone. I'm loving the appropriate length and the volume of the dress itself, it certainly is a stand-out piece and very Spring 2012 so she gets top marks from me. Frida accessorized with black open toed Roger Vivier booties and a navy belt to add some edginess into her girlie dress.

Frida completed her chic look with tussled waves and her signature smoky eye, perfection from head-to-toe! She suits Chanel so much I wouldn't be surprised if Karl made her a brand ambassador.

Diane Kruger in Emilio Pucci - 2011 UNICEF Ball

The stunning Diane Kruger attended the 2011 UNICEF Ball on December 9th after a slight red-carpet hiatus. Diane is a fashion force to be reckoned with and this was no exception, she chose a look from one of my favourite designers, Emilio Pucci and chose one of my favourite looks from the Spring 2012 collection, lucky or what?

Dress: Emilio Pucci Spring 2012 Sheer Lace Gown

Heels: Brian Atwood ''Marcella'' Pumps

Diane looked her usual best in this Emilio Pucci Spring 2012 sheer lace gown - a favourite of mine from the collection so I have major envy at the moment! Her stunning black dress is, in my opinion quite a unique looking number because of its shape and different materials, black dresses can look so same-y but this stands out so much, especially on a blonde, giving a beautiful effect.
Also, it gives Diane a curvier silhouette which is never a bad thing, I'm in love with this dress dammit!

Turning to the side has never looked sexier! One turn from Diane and we're seeing a lot of side boob, no problemo - it's tasteful and Diane has enough class to pull it off. She paired her gorgeous gown with red Brian Atwood 'Marcella' pumps, just like the runway version and it also matched her red nails! So breathtaking, I'm in awe.

Diane also showcased a darker hair colour at the event which I'm definitely liking but ultimately I will always love her as a cool blonde. Her hair was places in a care-free up do with pieces framing her face while her make-up wasn't fussy with only a little smoke on the eyes. Gorgeous as always.

:)

Jessica Biel in Valentino - 'New Year's Eve' New York Premiere

Jessica Biel stepped out at the Premiere of her star-studded movie ''New Year's Eve'' on December 8th. She looked beautifully radiant in her stunning gown which was one of my favourites in Valentino's Spring 2012 collection - trust Jessica Biel to pick the sexiest and most body hugging gown, its truly a dream to look at.

Dress: Valentino Spring 2012 Long-sleeve Beaded Gown

Shoes: Christian Louboutin ''Anna'' Sandal

Jessica looked the best she has in recent years in this stunning drop-waist Valentino creation - lucky girl for getting her hands onto the Spring 2012 collection and for picking the most beautiful gown. The colour itself is stunning and so sophisticated let alone all of the beading, crystal embellishment and craftsmanship that obviously went into making the dress.

Jessica's jaw-dropping gown (my jaw actually dropped.) was accessorized with a grey Valentino clutch and gold Christian Louboutin ''Anna'' sandals - both appropriate pieces although I wish she'd chosen the complementary runway clutch but none the less, she looks stunning and did this beautiful dress the justice it deserved.

Jessica looked breathtaking - her stunning brunette locks had plenty of volume while her green eyes were accented with eyeliner to give that extra pop. If there's one thing you can't deny about Jessica is that she's absolutely gorgeous, wow!

Charlize Theron in Antonio Berardi - 'The Late Show With David Letterman'

One of my favourite actresses, Charlize Theron stopped by 'The Late Show with David Letterman' recently and was snapped looking like a goddess in a beautiful Antonio Berardi fitted dress.
She was there to promote her new movie 'Young Adult' and here's hoping we see a lot more of her!

Dress: Antonio Berardi

Heels: Tom Ford Velvet Sandals

Charlize stunned in this bi-colour Antonio Berardi pink and black dress which fitted her athletic figure perfectly. She looked as gorgeous and statuesque as always and keeps proving she's getting better with age, damn! There's never a time where Charlize doesn't exude sexiness and this is no exception, she's an amazon! She accessorized with strappy Tom Ford heels which are definitely on my wish-list!

Charlize looked like a goddess as usual, her blonde hair was in romantic waves and her make-up was perfect with a pink lip completing her stunning look.

:)

Rachel McAdams in Marchesa - 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' LA Premiere

The stunning Rachel McAdams attended the Premiere of Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows' in LA recently wearing one of her favourite designers, Marchesa.
As always Rachel is the picture of elegance and grace in her gorgeous gown, her and Marchesa make a lovely duo!

Dress: Marchesa Resort 2012

Rachel's long sleeved embroidered gown is perfect for the Premiere as it definitely has a Hollywood glamour about it and of course, it gives her a beautiful silhouette. She's always classy and appropriate on the red carpet and this is no exception.

The cowl-back detail is also stunning, it gives a peek at her gorgeous figure without being too in your face, just the right amount of sexy. The colour looks great on her and I'm glad to be seeing her back on the red carpet. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin ankle boots.

Rachel as always looked sensational, her make-up was light with a hint of matte pink lipstick and her hair was in a intricate up-do with wispy pieces framing her gorgeous face.

Blake Lively in Elie Saab - Lady Gaga's Workshop Launch

The gorgeous Blake Lively attended Lady Gaga's Workshop Launch in NY a few nights ago and boy did she look amazing. As soon as I caught a glimpse of Blake's outfit I knew it could only be Mr. Saab - the electric blue gave me tingles and the lace shoulders just made my day, this is Blake's best outfit since her Chanel Couture look at the Green Lantern Premiere...she looks heavenly and got me so excited about fashion again so thank you, Blake!

Suit: Elie Saab Spring 2012

Shoes: Christian Louboutin ''Metalipp'' Pumps

Blake looked sensational in her straight off the runway Elie Saab Spring 2012 suit in a beautiful electric blue colour which suits her tanned complexion perfectly. Its a perfect fit for her, its so feminine while it being a suit - the lace detail and plunge really add the sex appeal that Blake is so famous for while adding understated sophistication. It makes her already slim figure appear flawless, her legs look amazing in the trousers - she's just a goddess although I wish she'd chosen better shoes, a strappy sandal would've been better but whatever, I will remember this for a long time!

A closer look at Blake's Elie Saab suit shows off that amazing lace detail at the shoulders and that deep plunge which works so well with her perfect figure. I thought she accessorized perfectly with silver Lorraine Schwartz jewellery as it made the blue sparkle even more. I'm so glad she upped the ante by wearing a suit, people expect short/revealing dresses from her but this really made my day when I saw it!

Blake's hair & make-up was stunning, this is probably the best she's looked recently. A carefree up-do is classic Blake but of course she had to make sure we could see that beautiful lace detail and her eye make-up is amazing, a shimmery navy and peach colours were used to create it, bronzy skin and lipgloss completed it to perfection. She's just glowing in this outfit, I hope she wears this colour again.

Blake Lively in Marchesa - Gossip Girl 100th Episode Celebration

Blake Lively was also present at the Gossip Girl 100th Episode Celebration along with her co-stars. Blake certainly grabbed everyone's attention with her very revealing dress - some loved it and some loathed it, its all about personal opinion on this one. She's a huge fan and supporter of Marchesa so its no surprise to see her in one of the Spring 2012 dresses, the relationship between the two is always interesting and colourful to say the least.

Dress: Marchesa Spring 2012

Shoes: Versace Spring 2009 Sandals

Jewellery: Lorraine Schwartz

Blake wore this gorgeous see through, embroidered fringe dress at the event - lets just say its been a while since Blake has worn something this revealing. My favourite blonde looked like a goddess in this dress in my opinion, she takes risks and doesn't care what others think, that's the spirit!
Blake's very revealing and heavily fringed organza was in luscious nudes with the embroidery being a cool silver colour.

Many didn't like Blake's dress as it looked ''ice-skater like'' because of the sheerness and it being so over the top but I personally really like it on her, I think it shows off her perfect figure and the carefully placed embroidery is sexy and typical Blake. I admit I wasn't sure of it at the beginning but I've really grown to like it, its different and clearly, beautifully made. Blake paired her dress with gold Versace heels.

Blake finished her look with a sophisticated bun and pretty golden eyes and a peachy lip. She of course also wore Lorraine Schwartz jewellery to add some sparkle. Gorgeous!

:)

Leighton Meester in Balmain - Gossip Girl 100th Episode Celebration

The amazing cast of my favourite show, Gossip Girl celebrated the 100th episode of their hit show on Saturday night and all of the cast, past and present were there. My two girl crushes Leighton and Blake of course were in attendance as always stealing the show.
Leighton showed up looking absolutely amazing, literally unbelievably beautiful and was in my opinion the best dressed at the event.

Dress: Balmain Resort 2012 Modified Dress

Shoes: Jimmy Choo 'Lauren' Sandals

Leighton wore one of her favourite designers, Balmain at the event - her Resort 2012 dress is modified from the original as its a lot shorter and in ecru. Her baby-doll dress had pretty bead middle panel detail and a clasp to accentuate her curves. The panels coming from the back of the dress to the front were covered in pretty beading while the dress itself was slightly longer at the front.

Leighton kept her look really simple with her only jewellery being a pair of earrings but her beautiful Jimmy Choo's added the needed sparkle. She definitely has the best she closet in Hollywood! I'm loving Leighton's whole look - she didn't over do it but the whole ensemble is gorgeous and girly so I can't fault her. Love it.

Leighton looked drop-dead gorgeous at the event, probably one of my favourites looks beauty-wise. She wore her long brown hair in soft waves and I'm really liking her fringe, its become her signature! Her make-up was also stunning, eyeliner rimmed eyes and plenty of mascara along with flawless skin and a peachy lip completed Leighton's look. By far the most beautiful girl out there!

Blake Lively in Chanel Couture - The Museum of Modern Art Tribute to Pedro Almodovar

Blake Lively was another attendee at The Museum of Modern Art Tribute to Pedro Almodovar and she was also one of my best dressed of the night - her and Emma Stone were the only ones who stood out to me.
Blake was of course wearing Chanel Couture which we haven't seen from her in a while and to be honest I was waiting for the partnership to return. I'm glad Blake is starting to attend more events now as she was completely absent in the Summer time so she better make up for lost time! Here she is looking gorgeous...

Dress: Chanel Fall 2011 Couture Ensemble

Shoes: Christian Louboutin 'Orniron' Ankle Boot

Jewellery: Lorraine Schwartz

Blake attended the event in this gorgeous Chanel Couture ensemble which consisted of a feathered peplum and a just above the knees skirt. For me, the ensemble is impeccable as the level of Couture detail an design is obvious in the structure plus I adore the different shade of grey/blue, I don't think I've seen Blake in grey before!

I adored Blake's Chanel ensemble, it was perfection on her trim body and fit her like a glove not in a overtly sexual way. It's been a while since Blake has worn Chanel on the red carpet and she came back with a bang in this gorgeous piece, its not typical Blake style but it certainly works for her! The only problem I have with this are those dreaded tights and ankle boots - absolutely no need for either, they almost look like a joke against that beautiful Couture piece, both are a very bad choice but I'll let it go if she never repeats it again!

Now it wouldn't be Blake if she didn't accessorize her look with a ton of Lorraine Schwartz jewellery (her favourite!) and of course all the attention was on her wrists, look at all those diamonds! She wore three gorgeous rings, I particularly love the two ruby ones, two bracelets on each wrist which definitely got my attention - all the colours co-ordinated with the colour of the dress and I thought it was a great idea as it adds a little sparkle plus notice hows she's also matched her nails to the dress, love that colour!

Blake completed her Couture look with a beehive bouffant which I think was appropriate to let the intricate detail on the dress shine while her make-up consisted of a metallic grey/blue eyeshadow and peachy lip, flawless as always!  And look at those stunning Lorraine Schwartz earrings, they're adorable and she once again colour co-ordinated, she seriously went all out this time!

:)
